By signing up for the Mississippi Agritourism Application (“MSAgritourism App”), you are consenting to push notifications or alerts to your device by the Mississippi Department of Agriculture & Commerce (“MDAC”) for marketing and promotion programs related to the Mississippi agritourism events. The MSAgritourism App uses push notifications to send you messages related to the services provided through the Application or to make available to you general information regarding agritourism in Mississippi. You can deactivate push notifications in the settings of the Application or of your device at any time. By using the MSAgritourism App, you acknowledge and consent to receiving push notifications and alerts on your device and agree to indemnify, defend, protect, save and hold harmless the MDAC, its agents and employees, and the State of Mississippi from and against all claims, demands, liabilities, suits, damages, losses and costs of every kind and nature whatsoever arising out of or caused by use of the application.
The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce is an agency of the State of Mississippi and is subject to the Mississippi Public Records Act of 1983, Miss. Code Ann. §§25-61-1 et seq., and the Mississippi Accountability and Transparency Act of 2008, Miss. Code Ann. §§27-105-151 et seq. Information and/or records in MDAC’s possession may be released pursuant to a public records request, unless exempted from disclosure by law or a court order.
