Dairy cows milked by hand and homemade churned butter and paneer made right here in our kitchen. We also have a cow sanctuary that currently cares for over 50 cows, bulls and oxen that graze here on the finest hay to live out their natural lives. Operation:  At Southern Cross Farm, our mission is to produce high quality beef in the most natural and environmentally sustainable manner possible, while encouraging viable habitats for wildlife, fish and pollinators. We offer educational tours to build consumer trust in beef products and the methods used to produce them. Visitors can see how the animals are pastured, utilizing grass to produce beef, while safeguarding and conserving our natural resources of air, water and soil. We want to teach our visitors how food and fiber are produced, rural values, and quality of life in a farm setting.

Activities:  Activities offered include agri-education tours, animal husbandry tours, soil health, environmental stewardship (how we care for air, water and land).
